How To Get Customers Series: Value Proposition Design (#3)

How To Get Customers Series: Value Proposition Design (#3)

Tuesday, March 3, 2020 10:15am to 12:45pm
No Fee

Workshop 3 of 6 in the new "How to Get Customers" workshop series.

Value Proposition Design: Create the right product or service offering for your customer.

After talking with customers and observing them in their natural habitats, you’ve got a solid understanding of what your product or service can do for them.  You can see the vision, and it’s exciting! But when it comes time to write an ad or tell someone else about your idea, you may find that it takes you longer to explain your idea than you like.

In fact, you might see people’s eyes glaze over as you’re explaining it - and if you’ve had that experience, you know it’s not the best feeling in the world.  “If only they’d see what I see!”

Whether you’re pitching to a friend, family member or customer, the fact is that you’ve got to wrap up your business idea in 15 seconds or less for folks.  This means you’ve got to be focused and accurate when describing it.

But how?

With the Value Proposition Design framework, that’s how.  In this workshop, we’ll help you through four steps that allow you articulate your idea:

What your product or service is;

Who it’s for;

What it delivers;

How it makes your customer into a superhero.

You’ll walk away with a fully developed list of features and benefits you can use to adjust your pitch on the fly, depending on who you’re talking to.  You’ll also get an easy to fill out script that will help you deliver your value proposition in one sentence, taking 15 seconds or less.

How to Get Customers Workshop Series

We’ve created a 6-part workshop series that will show you how to develop a customer base before launch.

 In this course, you’ll learn how to:

Know and get proof of who your customer is.
See where you fit in your customer’s world.
Create the right product or service offering for your customer.
Make your product or service message engaging for your customer.
Go to where your customer is.
Create ads, write content, and structure websites that resonate with your customer.

You’ll walk away from this course with a framework you can practice over and over as you create new ideas and innovations. You’ll learn the expertise you need to build and develop customers at the same time. Plus, we’ll give you access to goodies like the slide decks and printable, downloadable worksheets.

You don’t have to have a formed business idea to take this workshop - as you progress through it, your customer will tell you what they want!  Also, while it’s recommended that you attend all six workshop in the series, it’s not required.
