Carlsen Center Weekly Newsletter

Dear Carlsen Center Community Member,

Do you have a morning routine? If so, it reflects your organization and discipline. If it can be enhanced to tune into your body’s rhythms, you may be able to maximize your capacity and even tap into your creativity.

Our Thought for the Week, explores the alternative of a morning menu vs static routine. Check out some of the benefits of flexibility, i.e. doing what you want to do, vs what your should do.

Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is coming up and we have started scheduling various events in partnership with the Colleges at Sac State, along with our community partners and other educational institutions in the region. In fact, we have over 20 events and actitivites during the week of Nov. 8th. Included in the lineup is another Mentor Sacramento Office Hours Sprint – Speed Mentoring! Additionally, we have our annual Spark Venture Competition for earl-stage startups where we will award a total of $20,000 for our winner. Entrepreneurs and Mentors can sign up, below. Check this out, along with lots of other GEW events and mark your calendars!
